- School Catch Up campaign with APHN
In current times, immunisation is a hot topic and to raise awareness of our immunisation catchup service and to also assist families in accessing their Immunisation History Statements from the Australian Immunisation Register.
School Imunisation Catch Up Fact Sheet
Student/Parents are encouraged to check their History Statement to identify if the student has missed any vaccine doses either in preschool years or those administered in Year 8 & 10 as part of the School Program.
Information and guidance is provided onhow to access AIR and who can Acess this information.
Should any vaccines be identified as ‘due’, EHA can assist students to catch up missed doses by using the free under 20 yo catch up program.
Although it is recommended for all students to check their status, it is a timely reminder for Year 12s who will soon be leaving the school system to ensure their immunisation status is up to date. Besides ensuring students have peace of mind of protection, it can potentially alleviate any delays in tertiary placements and personal cost once the student has turned 20.
Should you have any questions whatsoever regarding this campaign, please feel free to contact us on 8132 3600 and we will be happy to assist.
