Food Safety Fairs, markets and events
Eastern Health Authority acts on behalf of five constituent councils to regulate Food Premises under the Food Act 2001. This includes all temporary events with mobile food vehicles, temporary stalls or other food vendors.
If you are operating a temporary food business at an event please submit the Temporary Food Premises Notification at least 14 days prior to the event.
If you are hosting an event please submit the Temporary Event Notification at least 28 days prior to the event.
If you hold regular events, after submitting the Temporary Event Notification, you can submit the Temporary Event Vendor List for each subsequent date.
Our Environmental Health Officers may inspect the event. Fees may apply as per the Food Business Inspection Fee Policy availble on our Policies page. Please contact EHA on 8132 3600 for more information.
